For Leshay, hair has always been part of her world. Long before it was a profession, it was play, curiosity, and instinct — hands learning movement, braid patterns, and technique from childhood.
Hair wasn’t something she discovered later. It grew with her.
“I’ve been doing hair since I was a little girl… my aunt taught me how to braid when I was about seven… from there I just took it and ran with it.”
That early immersion shaped her into a stylist who values skill, patience, and constant evolution.
The Origin Story
By her early teens, Leshay was already assisting with real clients — learning how hair connects to confidence and identity. That exposure taught her that styling isn’t just technical — it’s emotional.
Her understanding deepened through working with clients navigating hair loss.
“I have a client with alopecia… seeing her realize she can get what everybody else gets changed me.”
Moments like that transformed her perspective. Hair became a tool for restoration, not comparison.
Stylist Philosophy
Leshay believes maintenance is where beauty lives long-term. Healthy habits extend the life of an install and protect natural hair.
Her advice is simple but intentional:
“Wrap your hair with silk… nothing else. No cotton. Silk.”
To her, care is part of the luxury experience — preserving softness, movement, and longevity.
Her work is rooted in helping clients leave feeling restored, empowered, and confident in what they see.
